Hi Jack, good morning to you and the net, this is KBC of the 7GL. I'm not sure I'd trust you any more than Charles Schultz. He's probably pretty trustworthy except for that. So I think when it comes to footballs, I might be a little leery on that one as well. Boy, 75 years, that's a long time. Yeah, I just happened to sit down to have a little lunch and had the radio on and I thought I'd better check in here because I don't get to do it all that often. And as Michael described, it is clouding over. We were sunny earlier and I think it's still going to be okay but the blue skies have given way to some overcast right now. But I guess we can be thankful. I'm looking at the east side and Mary from the boater's net this morning was intending to go over to Lake Chelan and I've been sending her some updates. Boy, that looks really bad over there. I think I'd avoid that area. They've also got wind warnings now of up to 40 knots in that area from Wenatchee up to Chelan. So the big fires right there might be a good time to avoid it. As far as over here, I've been busy getting to the boat, a bunch of yacht club activities as far as dinners and various events. I've also been playing with a new radio. I absolutely did not need to buy another radio, so of course I did. A good friend down in Texas that does a lot of PODA was praising the New Yay Su FTX-1F, so I had to jump onto it. Somebody's going to take me out and shoot me. Anyway, it is really fun. I can see why he was excited about it. It's just a great little radio. I strung up an infed half-wire in a tree here in the backyard just to try it out from the shop rather than here in the shack. So the upper end is only up to about 20 feet, but I've been doing pretty well with it, making contacts. It's a QRP rig, so I'm not burning up the atmosphere with it, but it is a lot of fun. It acts a lot like my big Yay Su FT-DX101MP as far as the display, but it's a much different radio. I've been having fun with that. Again, it was the last thing in the world I needed, but of course I had to go out and get it. I'm incurable, I think. Back to you, Jack, and I hope all is going well for your day. This is KB7GL Kirkland.
