You had to come up with excuses after you take the bus. Greyhound, that was the worst. I had to take it and they made me late because I had to go every month to get my tank pump refilled in Burlington, Vermont. And every time the bus driver come back across the Canadian border, his first stop would be at that liquor store, the discount liquor store right next to the border. He'd go on there and he'd load that thing up. He's a bus driver, so he's not taking care of himself. He's taking care of all the other bus drivers, so he's probably buying about four or five bucks. But maybe one or two gallons worth of alcohol and he's loading up on the bus. Everybody else on the bus runs into the duty-free shop, getting whatever they got. And if you're lucky, the other stop would be at McDonald's and that would be a ten-minute stop. That's the way they were. It's hard to get a good bus driver. That's why probably Greyhound never made it in Canada.
