Hey, this is KJ5IRQ. Hey, I know you said that there's nothing going on down there, but I've been watching a lot of individual reporting on YouTube and other social media platforms where individuals are going down there with their cell phones and recording, and it doesn't look like nothing to me. I mean, I've seen fights, I've seen arrests, I've seen shields and all kinds of stuff. I don't think it's nearly to the scale of 2020, 2021 or anything like that. I don't think it's nearly that big. But there's definitely something going on there, and it's been in a few different places too. It's not all mainstream news very much. To be honest, what I have seen on the mainstream news is barely covering anything on it. So I would say that you all should probably look at individual reporting and see what's really happening down there that's not filtered by the mainstream news. Anyhow, that's just my two cents. You all have a great day. KJ5IRQ. This is repeater station kilo kilo seven November Quebec November. It's funny how the city reacts to things. When I was working in street cleaning, which was a graveyard job, there were some protests. I'm going back like 25 years. But anyway, we have a lot of bridges in Portland, and these protesters were going to take over the Burnside Bridge, which is right in the middle of Portland, from west to east side. And my manager said, well, we don't want them to block off that bridge. So take some barricades down there and close off that bridge. Well, basically we were closing the bridge, which was what they were trying to get away from, they said. So it seems kind of so silly to me. But I went down there and blocked off the bridge. So then the protesters, they could still go around the barricades if they wanted to. So it's kind of funny how they just got to show their power, I guess, that they're in control. I don't know. I haven't heard anything on the local news about anybody doing anything downtown Portland. It's all out there at the ISIS unit. But I don't know. I'm not down there. I'm not going to go down there. But, yeah, it's just amazing. I think bringing these troops in is going to cause trouble. There's going to be fighting and protests and all kinds of things down there. We'll have to see. They're out at Camp Riley over on the coast right now training, I guess. But, yeah, I think the local police, that's such a small building. I think the local police could handle it really easy. They don't need 200 National Guard guys down there with their whatever. Anyway, we'll see how it goes. KB7PVW.
