KB9NSK this is KC2PKG out of East Machias. I'm the guitarist of Gardner Lake. I posted a picture a little short movie of Gardner Lake this morning because the air was cold, the water's semi-warm and we had mist flying up out of the little tiny waves. We get some big waves sometimes too, two and three feet because it's a decent site nine mile long and the wind gets a run at it. So we can have some good waves. Certainly they wrecked my shoreline. And I am I guess on the list to get the shoreline redone in November. Which I was I was surprised at. I was like November you want to work on the lake shoreline in November? I guess they do and at least I'm on the list. I think one of the best things about this group and ham radio in general is you can talk to people who are on the scene. You know Santa Mel is right next to Portland. He knows the city really well and so he can tell us what there is you know there's it's a war-torn city or not. And I remember talking to him during Black Lives Matter too. He can tell us exactly what was happening. And you know I always say if you want to check out a new thing and go to the local papers. They usually tell the best truth that you can find. So their papers in Portland and stuff like that. It really he's got me he's got me intrigued. So I want to go check on that.
