KB9, MSK, this is KC2PKT. Do I believe in ghosts? You know if you think a ghost is like a person and has agency, it has a will, no I don't believe that. However, I'll tell you a story. When I first started coming up to Maine, my father-in-law was concerned that somebody was using their house when they weren't there. The propane would be gone, the washing machine would still be full and all this stuff. So I suggested he put up a camera in the corner of the dining room and I got it for him, I bought it for him and we put it up and he was very annoyed that he had to pay for internet. I said I'll pay for it, I'll pay for it, we'll find out what's going on. Well we did find out that people were going in and out of the house and taking stuff out of the refrigerator and all these other things and I would get an email every time the camera saw some movement and it would shoot a picture and then send it to me. And this started happening late at night, one winter. And I could look at the picture, it was pointed right at the fireplace and let me drop it for a second. Okay KC2 PKG returning. And I did all these pictures and I looked at them and I said this doesn't seem like there's anything there, I can't figure out what's firing the camera. And so as an experiment I looped all those pictures together and made a short film out of it. And I told this story before so some of you know what happened. When we looked at the picture, there seemed to be somebody standing next to the fireplace, not moving, but just standing there and he was wearing a big wide brimmed hat. Now Les's grandfather was known to wear a big hat and it's on the wall of the room where all this was going on. So I put that together and I sent it out to all the kids and said do you see anything here, you know am I imagining this. And a couple of them came back said no I see something. Les said she saw something. So we've got pictures of something that was there but I don't believe that that they're intelligent or you know want something or doing something I think like but it's something that we don't understand and this this kind of thing let me drop it for a second. This kind of occurrence has been reported since the dawn of time and it's almost in all cultures and someone got on here the other day and was talking about their dogs watching a spotless ceiling over the bed where someone died and wouldn't be dissuaded. So yeah there's something there I think but we have yet to be able to prove anything at all and maybe we just don't know what we're looking for. Back to you KB9NSK this is KC2PKG.
