Well the other aspect of bootlegging is like when you simply just dupe someone else's call and use it. And I did that a while. In older days that was easy because it wasn't like on the internet and everybody's just looking it up. So all I had to do, and you guys already know I lived in a million places, was I duped a call from somebody really far away who chances are would never catch me. And then I did that for a while. Once I was licensed I had a little conflict for part of that year. There were people that remembered me from other places and they finally put the story together. So I was really embarrassed. Luckily they never really told on me. In fact I met a guy who kind of, yeah he busted me out. He says he knew my voice. But he used to do it too, which I didn't know. His name was Darren Jones, KC6. He used to say United Bravo Potato. He would talk on that renegade repeater. How funny. So I wasn't afraid of him like violating me or whatever. He never did. He just said, he said don't BS a BSer. Because of course I didn't want him to know my gig. So I never told him. Or I tried not to tell him. So that's a couple of aspects there. Now I would bet since it's fall.
