Hey, good evening Paul and the rest of the net, KE7KZH up here in Marysville, Washington. Just kind of playing, doing some technical stuff like the last check-in. I'm trying to get some open source projects that I've found compiled to run on my router. So I've done similar stuff with my travel router, the GLiNet. So I'm trying to just do something similar for my ACES router. So setting up a build environment and trying to make sure I've got all the tools and cross compiling, yada, yada, to make sure I've got the correct processor architecture and all that good stuff. And the fun thing I'm doing is instead of just spinning up like a Linux virtual machine which is what I've done in the past when I've done this, I'm trying to just use the Windows subsystem for Linux, WSL. Setting up a little Debian system there. I found that to be way easier since I mainly use Windows systems and stuff rather than trying to maintain a whole separate virtual machine. Very easy to set it up, get it going. Wipe it if I need to screw something up and start over. So anyway, that's my fun project. And of course, for full disclosure I do work at Microsoft. So if I mention a Microsoft product I like to just say that for ethical reasons. But anyway, other than that I'm very sad to hear that Build W7BAS will have its last net. And I did that, like triggered something. But that means I will take the place of the longest running 9 o'clock net host. I think I started in March of 2013. So I've got 12 years on me running the Sunday nights there. Anyway, I'll try to check in Thursday morning and say hi to Bill there. I'm normally not a morning app person because of work and stuff like that, but I'll be sad to see him go there. Anyway, thank you for running the net Paul. Waves to Moxie and everyone else out there in the vacuum of radio. All right, K7KVH back to net.
