Hello Jack, yeah I still haven't got a permanent setup in my Kia EV here yet. It is sunny, it is nice and I am going to go up and do that last little bit of painting on the porch, railing and all that stuff today. Because you're right, I need to make the most of it. Yesterday I kind of squandered the day, today I'm not going to squander it. But I'm taking a break right now, I'm taking a look at my car to figure out how I'm going to route the cabling for this radio installation. So I'm kind of looking at that a little bit but I'll get off my tiny here. I'm actually kind of sitting on the edge of my passenger side doorway looking at the scope of this out here. Looks like I've got some really good possibilities for running the cables in here without interfering with any of the expensive stuff like the 600 volt cable here or what have you. Oh, someone asked a question the other day about any interference with the electrical from the radio or vice versa. The answer to that is no. Everything has been perfectly quiet. I've got the antenna mounted right up by the engine and everything in the engine compartment is sealed up so tight and so well shielded. I've had no hints of interference coming or going with the radio in the car so far. So right now I'm just on an HT but I did have another radio plugged into the cigarette lighter and everything was going great. I think it's going to be clean, clean, clean all the way through. I just need to get some bits and pieces together and waiting for the radio to come also. I can't wait. This is for Peter Station Kilo Kilo 7 November, Quebec November. All Star Node 6222 located in Shelton, Washington. They were expecting about a week or so ago and they said, they were a little confused, they said, we've already gotten your radio and I said no, no, I've got my reservation for the radio that I put on like day number two after they announced that they would be handling those and taking reservations. Anyway, the guy said, oh, it shows that there's actually 47 in the country and I said 47. Okay, so I'm guessing those are 47 that they've got ready to go but they're waiting for final software because all the YouTube videos and stuff I was watching were showing they were still finalizing the software. They don't want to do beta testing on their earlier, they want to have a thing out the door with no software updates needed. So I'm hoping that will happen soon, October, November, who knows and then I'll be ready to put that stuff in my car. That's KI7 ZPI.
