Alright this is a KC2 PKG. I had exactly the same thing go and when I looked at the vent on the outside of the house because it's a very short distance but it goes through the walls and stuff like that it was all clogged up with fluff and so I just popped the cover off it cleaned all that out and the dryer started working again just fine. If you've got a really long vent then you may have to figure out how to push a brush or something through it to clean it all out you know brush like a chimney sweeps brush or something like that or just a stick or a wire that can go all the way through and then you can pull a brush behind it pull it all the way through but yeah I think you're on the right track man look at the parts you can get to in the dryer vent and also check the outside because this has just changed so you know either finally got far enough to not vent properly or you know or it built up over time so or something happened something fell on it or something like that anyway no I think you're definitely on the right track. KC2 PKG. Alright awesome we get a new dryer anyway but he's gonna have the same problem if we don't clear that vent yeah it's a weird one gray it goes like from the front of the house between the floors and then goes out to the back of the house it's like a really precarious weird way to do it I just would have put the dryer exhaust right next to where the damn dryers to in the front of the house and just would have made more sense to me you could just clean it easier but apparently the dryer vent is right out in the back of the house and the dryers and that are in the front of the house so I don't even know how we'll get to clean all that but I can like take off the short one that goes to that ducting it goes between the dryer and the ducting you know like a regular dryer hose like that you can like you know flatten down as those circular metal looking ones I can definitely disconnect that from the ductwork that goes through the house and you know clean out the inside of the dryer literally take the back off the dryer and vacuum all that out so that's what I'm gonna do before I you know use it down here but yeah I'm thinking my dad could save a bunch of money and just clean out those vents and it would be fine but he doesn't trust it because it had a little burn and smells he doesn't trust it and he wants a new one so there's no talking about of that so I got me a free dryer that works just fine you know one UKC thanks Russell
