Alright Russ, appreciate it. Just looking at some facts about pumpkins. And the most interesting one was the fact that I didn't realize that the pumpkin was basically an Irish River grip. I saw the jack-o-lantern, the pumpkin, and started using that instead of... Were they used as turnips? Or were they used as something else? They were mainly using turnips to carve their pumpkins and they were supposed to be basically a way of warding off evil or danger at the time. Would you imagine trying to carve a turnip and putting a candle inside? That would be interesting. And really not much on pumpkins, other than a great food. I know my wife, she buys several pumpkins. In fact, she doesn't buy them yet, I'm kind of surprised. She cooks them and gets the pulp out and everything. We have pumpkin pies, she makes a couple of pumpkin pies a year, fresh. Not canned, but fresh. I have to admit, I do like them quite a bit. But we don't really decorate the house very much. Not anymore. Not since our kids grow up and then my daughter, she really decks out her house. Halloween is her favorite time, so he gets all the Halloween stuff he needs for making a special time of the year.
