AB7 DW VA6GRZ. Hey good morning Dave, everybody on the net. We've got 9 degrees right now, high of 25. That's 49 and 77, mainly sunny. We've got some wind gusts going on too. I managed to get my Canadian flag up. But my mask isn't tall enough. Anyway, those of you who might have seen my text box, I saw my surgeon back on Friday. And she's cleared me to go back to work on the 16th. I know, a Thursday. Why do you want to start on a Thursday? Well, maybe because I don't want to lose a couple of pay. Because I'm only getting paid until October 15th. So, that would probably make sense. What else did I do? Oh yeah, I went to the Edmonton Guitar Show yesterday at the Italian Cultural Center. I lucked out in getting a nice little practice amp, a Harte... I can't remember the model number, but it's only a 15 water. And I'm looking at the price tag and I said, is this right? I said, $55 for this? And they said, yep. So I went to... I asked to borrow one of the bass guitars there and plugged it in. And I turned it up and checked it out. And I says to the young man helping me, Mack was his name, I says, sold! So I got that and another set of Fender bass guitar strings as well. So, lots of eyeballing. The funniest one I saw was a custom job. I can't remember what the name of the company was. Anyway, they custom built guitars and they made one, square one, like Bo Diddley's. But they painted him Spongebob. Square pants. So I thought that was funny and I took a picture of it. So, if you want me to post it on Facebook, I will.
