Yeah, I remember those days. I remember getting a scanner when I was a kid and then eventually I got my license. And yeah, I got into it just as cell phones were becoming a little more common. So there was lots of auto patch activity. And the repeaters were very busy back then. I don't think people, a lot of younger hams don't get to experience that. Repeaters are a lot quieter these days.
