Yeah, boy I forgot that was happening this weekend. And if you want to hear some really impressive sounding audio some of those old AM stations sound really really good. They are still on part of 80 meters and the top end of 40 meters too. Most days there is a couple of guys on there. Beware, they key down for a long time. You know, 10 or 20 minute transmissions. Thanks Adrian. Warren, VE3 WDE in Toronto. Welcome to the Trans-Canada. This is repeater station Kilo Kilo 7. Good afternoon to yourself and everyone else on frequency. This is VE3 WDE. Yeah, regret selling any ham equipment. 41 years ago I was just a 60 year old kid and I, sorry. Just over here, stand by please. So yeah, 41 years ago I had a, I believe, I was a 60 year old kid. It was a 40, a Yaesu, I forget if it was FT1 or FT3 or something. But it had the ability to do auto patch through the TN tower which is where I am working oddly enough right now. At 145.410 we could key it up and it had a little keyboard and a tiny little LCD display. Take it only transmitted 2 watts. But I could be in high school making phone calls before cell phones were around. Through the VHF FM frequency it was pretty interesting. Auto patch was great.
