KC1, UGK, I remember in the 70s when I went in the service, a lot of the kids had long hair in that era. And I remember going, I never had it because I played sports, plus my dad was brushed up, worked for me, worked for him. But I remember going through basic, and one of the first places you stop, the second day you're there is the barbershop. And there's about 20 chairs lined up, and in those days, long hair. And they'd sit in the chair, and they'd ask you, how do you want it cut? And you'd say, you could hear them say, we'll trim off the side and just trim off the back. And the next thing you do is straight down the middle, right to the scalp. You'd actually see tears come as they saw their hair falling.
