Good evening Bill and Rich. If you're listening and everybody else on the net this is Dean KG7ODD. So let me see today I went over to the Lake Washington rain or shine event and when Sean checked in before it made me realize that there was no YL Posse representation there today but it was still a great event. Just a lot of people always say this but I don't want to mention anybody's name because I will forget somebody but it was great. David the new operator who was number one I don't believe I met him I did see a few people that I didn't recognize but I probably should have said something so anyway hopefully I'll meet him at some other event but yeah afterwards I went out to dinner with or late lunch I should say because it was still late to McMinimins with Cami and Robert and I had some shrimp gumbo which was really good and then after that I went so I brought my IC705 with me and I went to a parking lot at Shoreline Community College and set it up because what I wanted to do is I wanted to see if I could get this app called SDR control that's on my iPhone and what it is is it connects to certain iCom radios and with it you can make FDA contacts and all these features but they added slow scan TV to it so I didn't make any transmissions but I picked up three different SS TV slow scan TV photographs from 20 meters of 14.230 so I mean you just sit there and you let these little pictures come in there's one that has a red car on it and another one which has some kind of mountain display and it's just kind of cool seeing those come in so I want to make sure I get it right because I wasn't quite sure how to add my call sign or if I just need to make a jpeg with information already embedded in it but I think this implementation in SDR control might be kind of new so it might not have all the features like adding being able to add text to existing photographs so anyway that was fun checking that out and yeah it was my IC705 with my buddy sick pro which was working very well and I made a few FDA contacts too. I've done just a tiny bit of SS TV the stuff that comes down from the International Space Station and just you know recorded the audio and played it into a decrypter on my phone and by the way you probably know but for others the ISS they're going to be doing that again next weekend I think starting Friday I don't remember exactly what time but they're going to do two sessions I think Friday Saturday and then Sunday Monday I think they're going to do six new images I believe from the ISS if you're interested you guys can just google that and it'll pop right up I am sure but my question for you Dean is um it never occurred to me there was other stuff around particularly HF how do you know where to go how did you know 14.230 was the place to go
