And this is around the first 100 million years after the Big Bang, just around there, which was before the formation of stars and galaxies. And by looking at this era, researchers were able to simulate early cosmic structures. They showed how gas cooled as the universe expanded, most developing small gas pumps by way of gravitational interaction with dark matter during the Dark Ages. And gas pumps were much denser than in the average universe, and they heated due to being compressed. And this resulted in the imprinting of the 20-meter-centimeter radio emissions from hydrogen atoms, which is around 1,020, 1,020 megahertz.
