And evidence for the claim contesting the use of cetaminophen was in an August analysis and it was co-authored by epidemiologist Dr. Andrea Pacarelli, the Dean of Harvard's and the T.H. Chan School of Public Health. And that study combined data from many studies on cetaminophen and neurodevelopmental disorders. And the New York Times found that a person received from his $150,000 an expert witness for the claims in a lawsuit against the panel makers. And the testimony was eventually thrown out for being scientifically unsound. And their report came to cherry pick and misrepresented the literature. They gave little account for issues such as genetics or maternal health that can arise that increased risk for autism while putting too much emphasis on studies, and not accounting for those factors.
