In the sky this week, and not so much this week, but going forward just a tiny bit, Saturn is still highly visible right now in the United States. Just moving out of opposition, that's going to take a while for it to do that. Opposition is where it's behind the Earth, and the Earth is between it and the Sun, so it's slowly moving out. It's not as close as it was a few days back, but it's still close enough to those of you. If you have some binoculars, even a spotting scope or a small scope, you don't need anything really elaborate, but we'll take a look. You can see the rings on it. Quite a sight to see. I've always enjoyed looking at Saturn through my scope. So it'll be in opposition. It won't be completely out of opposition until the end of 2025. So that sign of the myth is getting lower. And comet, C slash 2025-R2 Swan, or just Swan-R2. It might be a naked eye event October 21st, so it's not that far away, where it'll be about a quarter of the distance Earth is from away from the Sun, so it'll be very close. And October 4th and 6th, we may be treated to a meteor shower as Earth passes through the debris field from the comet. So something else for you to keep an eye out. Do a little bit more exploration of your own online for some more information about that. We might be able to see it from your location as well as for Saturn.
