evictra alpha 3 evictra with the x-ray 4 ID so while it does happen it's where where two tropical systems will collide with each other and merge there was one Odette and Seroja that was back in 2021 I think they had they had a collision where they basically ate each other I believe Seroja was the sorry Odette was stronger than Seroja and Odette essentially ate Seroja although I might have that backwards I'm trying to do it off the top of my head but nonetheless it's not incredibly common but it's not uncommon when these storms merge what happens is one of the merging pairs shears out the other one because at some point the winds are actually going to be going against each other right on the end you know the if you've two storms one to the left one to the right and they're trying to meet in the middle at that point in time the winds are traveling in opposite directions right so they're shearing against each other so so they actually will damage each other and then one storm will take over as the dominant you know as the the fourth center of the vortex or the the vorticity maxima emerges and you have a new cyclone form so while it seems big and scary usually it's incredibly detrimental to the storms that have the Fujiwara effect come into play where they essentially merge it's not uncommon for extra tropical cyclones to do this this happens very often with extra tropical cyclones both tropical cyclones it's far less common but it does happen they typically have to be within about 1,400 kilometers of each other that's 870 odd miles for the Fujiwara effect to to occur with extra tropical cyclones the Fujiwara effect comes into play at distances of 2,000 kilometers or less so so yeah so there you have it sorry Ken I got totally off track here what was the original question
