Anyways, so this is pretty cool, him listening to the check in and me checking in. So hello to everyone. Have a great time out there at the park. Last night was really cool. You know I had originally put together a kind of a mission to fly into this private airstrip trout lake but I just didn't get prepped enough in time yesterday and I was feeling pressed so I called it off. And I went over to Sister's in the Metolius Preserve area to ride my bike, rode up around a subtle lake. I was absolutely just stunner of a day yesterday here in Central Oregon. I was like 76 degrees and just no wind and really nice bike ride. And then I tooled on into Sister's where the Sister's Folk Festival is playing at this weekend without a ticket. I said, you know, maybe I'll just hang my hammock up by the park venue and listen to some music. And I did that for an hour and then the coolest things unfolded. I went to another venue at the Sister's Saloon and like literally snuck in the back with these other like credentialed people and was hanging out, watched a great show there, two great performers and then we saw this super awesome band close out the night super yamba. And by way of Brooklyn, New York and the lead guitarist and singer has played with the likes. They mentioned several people. The crowd went crazy. I didn't know any of them other than Lauryn Hill. This musician played with Lauryn Hill. I thought that was really cool. But it was a wild night. I ended up camping in the hammock with some friends I met in security and got too few hours of sleep so we're kind of having a lazy morning here. That's a report. Sorry it's so long.
