Good morning ladies and everybody on the net. There is no story behind the call sign. It was a random call sign assigned to me by the FCC when I got my license. I kind of like it. I've been thinking about getting a vanity call sign with the suffix letters, but I haven't pulled the trigger on that yet. I kind of like being stealthy in my call sign, so we'll probably ride with the one I've got for now. I'm up getting rock for my yard at the local landscaping material place. I had to change the rock under my deck. I had tea gravel under it for years and years. The daughter moved in and her cat decided that that was a great place to use as a cat box. It's rather unpleasant to be sitting out on the deck having dinner during the summer and she decides it's time to use the cat box. So the tea gravel went away and I'm putting grain rock down. I've got one more yard of grain rock to spread today and then I'll be done before the rain hits. That's what I'm up to today. Just wanted to mention the National Fast Squatch Awareness Day is coming up in October, which brings on the second annual Radio Club of Tacoma National Fast Squatch Awareness Day special event. It's going to run from the 15th to the 20th and we are still looking for volunteer operators. So if you're interested in operating a special event station, go to their website and find a volunteer form to fill out and send in and then we will coordinate with you to put you on a special event station. This is KK7NYW.
