That's why you gotta be able to be flexible, go to different modes and stuff like that. What's popular one year might be popular somewhere else, you know, on the digital modes. Personally, though, I haven't been, I got an HF or I am on radio, but I use the radio to connect to All-Star or Echo Link or something like that, but I've had more fun doing this than I ever did with HF. Now, back in the early 90s when I first got my license, two meter repeaters, though the two meter repeaters are extremely happening scene and there were several repeaters and I can't see the area that all day long, you talk to somebody. Now they're dead quiet and you hear that from, well, you heard that from Josh yesterday and I hear it from a lot of people when it's just regular repeaters that are deader than a doorknob. So praise Echo Link and all the other digital modes to keep us going.
