KI7PKL from GW8SLL. Yes indeed. Those filters that you actually put on, I was never bothered out. I was just thinking like, you know, you're looking through a telescope at the sun and what would happen if those filters failed? Maybe you had a cheap copy or something, you know, and then of course you're going to lose your eyesight, at least in the one eye because of it. So I was never, you know, even though, you know, other people I know did and without issue, I was never very happy about, you know, doing that. I always projected the sun just to be on the safe side. Just in case it failed, maybe the filter actually failed, maybe it was a cheap copy or something, being sold as the real thing. So, no, I never had any of them.
