I guess that's the time out on this radio. I guess if I ever lose it, then I can ever lose the data. I can just restore from the other one or from those other drives. But what a pain. It really is losing all that data, but what do you do if you're not on top of a backup for the backup? And I really wasn't thinking about that because all of this data has been safe on these USB portable drives for so many years. I figured, USB desktop drive? My God, that's got to be bulletproof. It's just been sitting there on my desk since I got it. I've never moved it. No unplugging it or anything. It's just been connected to my Mac. I understand electronic failure, and that's what it seems like to say electronic failure because the drive itself, I mean I can hear it and they're spinning right now. The computer just can't communicate with it because of that board or whatever has failed on the inside. I don't work on the adapter. That's what I'm going to work on and see if I can't pull that data from those drives. I'm going to give up just yet because I've got enough drives here to accommodate six terabytes of data. I definitely do, and I can just try and pull it off once inside there. Anyhow, keep me on the list. I'm going to program these radios up with a little chirp chirp and see if I can make them usable for the repeater. It seems like they're going to be good though. I don't know how they compare to the radio I was using, the 380, but if they at least sound half decent, then it's a couple more little small radios just for the repeater. I'd still want to...let me reset.
