Good morning Joe, this is Bud, K-5 EJPH in Gull Canyon, Arizona. On the question of the day, I do not drink coffee, period. Nothing will be said. I'm doing pretty good. I had a very full day yesterday with three medical appointments and then getting good news. These were routine things, dermatology, podiatry, etc. I generally am getting good news which means I'm going in the right direction. While I was doing all of that, I got texting from a friend of mine named Richard who now lives in Washington State. His aunt, who I met, Jill is her name, fell on Saturday and was hauled off to the hospital. The reason I mention this is Jill fell, she's in her late 80s. I think she'll soon be 89 in a month or so. She lost her husband, who I've never met, his name was Dick, about five or six years ago. She lives alone in the same house where they've lived for over 50 years in the northeast part of Mesa. When that house was built, it was out with nothing but cactus and sand and dirt and that kind of stuff. But she still lives alone. There is another house, it was a huge piece of property. The area has now been developed. The second house was for Jill's parents, mother and father, who have subsequently passed away. Jill's son now lives in the house. It's not a door, it's a good distance, but you can see it's still on the same property. Anyway, Jill fell on Saturday and she did not have her cell phone. She did not have a life alert and she stayed out there with what turned out to be a broken hip in extreme pain for over five hours. The reason that I mention this is if you live alone, and especially if you're a senior living alone, always have some way to communicate to neighbors, friends, family, whatever, because you never know when you're going to need some help. I visited with her yesterday afternoon after my three appointments. I was up at five in the morning and didn't get home until after seven last night. We had three and a half hours visiting with Jill and one of her friends came in and the three of us visited with nurses and doctors coming in and out. Three and a half hours visiting.
