I was poking around today for maybe some activities to do this weekend. And there is a performer who I learned of recently, the bones of J.R. Jones, kind of an American folk singer. And he is coming into Sisters Oregon this weekend for the Sisters Folk Festival. And much to my dismay, the single day Saturday tickets where he is playing are all sold out. You can't even buy one. And the next cheapest entry is you've got to buy a 3 day pass for like $235. I don't think I'm into that. So I saw the bones of J.R. Jones is playing up in old Trout Lake Washington of all places. I've never been there. It's a tiny town. And I started poking around there. And wouldn't you know it, I found – this is an absolutely cool story. I found an airstrip there called the owner and asked permission to land. She called me back and said, hey, my husband asked a few years ago. We don't really have too many people coming here. I don't think the airstrip is too maintained these days. However, there is another guy in town here who loves people visiting. You should call him and here is his name and number. And I called the guy up. His airstrip backs up to the venue, Trout Lake Hall. And he gave me permission to fly in and camp right there on his ground Friday night. How about that? So we've got a mission coming together, KI7 UES.
