God, that would melt it. Anywhere close to the motor is not going to be an option. I had a cargo box on the back of my old bike and in that cargo box there was like a little pouch that someone had attached to the very bottom of the cargo box. So I just slipped the air tag in there and put everything back in the cargo box and you'd never find it without pulling everything out of the box and searching really hard. But this bike doesn't have a cargo box on the back. It does have a trunk in the front that closes but the inside of the trunk is all plastic and it's red. So anything you put in there, someone's going to see it right away. So I'm thinking maybe up underneath the frame somewhere. I've got to install a horn up underneath the frame as well. But I've got to put it somewhere where it can't get wet. I was thinking maybe I'll put it in a sandwich bag, like a little baggie, and then put tape all around the outside of it to make it look black and just tape it up and put a zip tie around it up underneath the frame. That's the best I've come up with yet because they can't get wet either. That's the other thing about these air tags. They can't get wet. They're not waterproof. So on the other bike, inside the cargo box and then inside that little pouch, there was no way for it to get wet because they won't last very long if they get wet either. So I've got to figure out a way. I think in the sandwich bag you should keep it nice and dry. I'll just fold it up and then put some tape around it. That should keep it nice and dry. But I'm still hung up on the exact spot where I'm going to put it. But I've got to put it somewhere because I don't like to not have a tracking device on it just for, if nothing else, proving where I was. You never know when you might need to prove where you were. At least the air tag will track my location while I'm riding the bike too. My rides will always be tracked on the map. That's another advantage to it.
