Kix2cwkc5 Waterfront Hotel. Alright, good evening, Joan and the rest of the net out there. Let's see, I got a couple of things here. By the way, I did wish Clay a happy birthday. I didn't hear it come up when he checked in earlier. So, anyhow, Clay, if you're still hanging on out there, happy birthday to you. I hope you had a good day today for sure. Let's see, what else do we have? Oh, yeah, before I forget it, I wanted to say something about Mike, who I think comes in behind me. He was that operator that kind of got left out in the shuffle. Mike used to run net control over on the Keller Peak repeater down in California. And he did a real good job. It was the after net. It was one of the guys that took on a little net. It was a little bit smaller than the main net. And his thrust was to try to keep people awake. It was midnight or a little after. And he would call on check-ins and so on and so forth. Mike, I remember that. I don't know if you're still doing it or not. I don't even know if Keller Peak is still operating. Keller Peak is in San Bernardino County. And the repeater site is up about 8,800 feet. Can you imagine the footprint there? But what I really want to tell you guys, that was our best reset. All right, Joan, I mentioned to you, if you get a chance, and I hope you do, go up on Mount Rainier. And almost 30 years ago, I'll tell you what it was, when Anita Hill was having, there was hearings for Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas. And I was able to listen to that. So that gives you a little kind of a time tab there on that, when it happened. And I was backpacking around Mount Rainier on that Wonderland Trail. And one evening, I was by myself. One evening, I settled in at where a ranger's station was. A little cabin, one-room cabin. But it was closed. There was nobody there. In the last few minutes of the evening, setting sun right at dusk, I'm sitting on the porch of this cabin and just enjoying the sounds and the sunset. And all of a sudden, this crash broke loose on the flanks of the mountain. It was massive. And man, I bounced and launched and turned and looked back at the mountain and couldn't see anything. I never saw a big mass of flying snow or anything else. But I'm here to tell you, it was bigger than a house, bigger than a building. Huge crash. A chunk of ice, a rock, what have you. It's a little surprise there. And if you get a chance, Joan, I hope you get to go up there someday. AC5WFH. Good evening, all.
