So I could take the two track recordings I'd make of a live band and then mix it down to mid-sides. So one channel is left plus right mono and the other channel is left minus right difference. But I don't need to do that anymore because one of the reasons I got the DX40 and now the DX40X is they have integrated mid-sides encoding. So you can just go with the external source of any kind which means the X source could be a mixer or a mix down. You can do digital proper mid-sides encoding. One of the reasons I got it. But anyway, so yeah, but it's a microphone stand. Mine is not a desk stand. I've been using this for, gosh, I don't know, I think almost all of this year so far. The mic stand is standing next to me on the floor and I have the microphone swiveled so that the one little bar that's holding the two microphones up is serving as a little boom to move the microphone over and I'm talking that the microphone is right up kind of quartering off the side of my head right now. Anyway, blah blah blah blah blah. What did I write down? Yes, all I wrote was same microphone as show. So what do you know, of course, Patries are doing weird stuff all the time. I'm writing down some numbers on here, writing down AL for Alabama and I didn't write down the time but that's okay because I can, I just recorded you and I'm going to turn the recorder off after I'm done talking.
