Well good evening John and everybody on the net and happy first day of fall to everybody. Fall usually isn't really my season although probably this part of the country is usually fairly mild. It's almost like a continuation of summer. Usually by October we get our first significant cold front which usually knocks the daytime temperatures into the low 80s and into the 70s and at night in the 60s and even sometimes in the 1950s. The 50s creep. Okay, it's late. So the one thing I've been kind of relieved about is that it's been a pretty passive hurricane season so far this year. Whatever storms have come along have mostly stayed out the sea. There hasn't been really much any activity in the Gulf although the Gulf is as high as bath water. Everybody is thinking that if a baby drops a few tears in the Gulf it will just spin up into something. So far nothing has happened which kind of lowers my anxiety level a bit. Thankfully. I'm also happy that it's been easily quiet because so far we haven't had much in the way of major grandfather hurricanes anywhere in the mainland United States. Even the Caribbean hasn't seen much action. One thing I did notice is that on the Pacific side you can get some earthquakes here and there. About a week or so ago there was an earthquake just off of Russia and they were issued a tsunami alert for Hawaii for a short time Alaska but then they cancelled it. I think a couple of days ago San Francisco got a 4.3 earthquake. I'm wondering if there is anything else on the horizon as far as seismic activity. Hope is not the harbinger of things to come. But beyond that everything has been pretty much normal. Nothing real exciting in my way. With that I will say 73. All the numbers Steve Jones always good to talk to you. KFIWYB and I'm Doc Pinette.
