I peered, I craned my neck in my eastern, east-facing window, a large window, and then I look south-southeast and I see the hint of an outline. In fact, if I move my eyes, if I kind of scan around, like, you know, randomly move my eyes a little bit, which is what your eyes are always doing without us even realizing. They're constantly jeering. That's how your brain fills in what's there. Your eyes are always jittering. If your eyes stop jittering, you kind of can't see. But anyway, so you can sometimes make something out in the distance or something that's barely there by intentionally jittering your eyes. And so if I jitter my eyes, looking at the exact spot where the mountain is, I can then suddenly see the outline kind of pops out in my mind and I see it. However, the naive realist might misconstrue that there is no mountain there because it's not obvious. The antenna over there, a click away, is more obvious with my naked eyes. I'm in my pajamas, but I've already, you know, bathed and ready for the day and I have put on my pajamas as my day clothes because, you know, I'm retired.
