Absolutely. Mary Jane's Last Dance gave Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers a number 14 hit on the US Pop Chart in 1994. It reached number 52 on the UK chart. Tom Petty and Heartbreakers were inducted into the Rockin' Old Hall of Fame in 2002. They've never had a number one on the US Pop Chart or a top 20 entry into the UK chart. Del Shannon was one of Tom Petty's early musical heroes and Petty had worked with him producing and writing along with Jeff Lynn after Roy Orbison died in 1988. Roy Orbison was a member of the Traveling Wilberys along with Tom Petty and Jeff Lynn. So I actually liked the Traveling Wilberys. Good job, sir!
