two speakers, big four standing speakers many years ago. They were just voted as, you know, not fitting in with the furniture. But they also had 15 inch woofers. So as a kid, I have fond memories of making various parts of the house vibrant with those. But note your point is well taken. It's, it is all about what you like the sound of, or it should be.
