I used to worry about that when I had a CB radio when I was 10 years old. Thatís when I first got my CB radio. I was mowing lawns and stuff and I saved my money and I bought one. But you want to know what really got me worried? And Darryl mentioned it yesterday. It was, no, two days ago he mentioned it. I was on my bicycle. I didnít comment. But he said that President Trump, if the United States goes to war, which could happen, I mean, Iím looking at the news. This ainít good, you know, whatís going on around the world. But if they went to war, they could turn off my radio license or stop like they did in World War II, all the radio people from talking. Now, could, since I have Echolink, Iím talking to you on Echolink, could Echolink, if they shut down the American call signs, all the American call signs, would Echolink actually suspend them from using Echolink? Or could I risk it and do it because Iím above the law since Iím outside the United States and still use it because Iím special? I donít know if thatís possible because Iím not in the United States, but I only have an American call sign. If we go to war, Iím sure Canadaís not going to go to war, but Iím sure the United States will, but I want to still use my call sign. The only way to do it is to upgrade to a Canadian license and try to avoid that.
