And the reason why these primordial black holes are so energetic, they give off so much energy, is because their event horizon is so much closer to the centre of a black hole than it is for a stellar black hole. So that means you've got greater gravitational effects pulling inward on it, on the event horizon. So you've got these humongous gravitational effects pulling inward and that results in energy being created, that energy gets diverted outward. And as the Hawking radiation is being emitted out of a black hole, the black hole starts to lose mass and as it does, it starts to pull inward even more and it gives off more radiation until finally it just explodes. There's a runaway effect.
