In an exploding black hole, it wouldn't just be a fantastic light show. We would provide scientists with a huge amount of information of every subatomic particle in existence. And this includes not only particles already discovered, like electrons, quarks, protons, neutrons, but also currently undetected particles, maybe even dark matter. And there's no guarantee an explosion will occur this decade. High probability means that we should be kind of prepared for one. The current telescope technology is already capable of detecting the tails outside of blocking radiation from an exploding immortial black hole. And if calculations prove right, they might shed light on one of the oldest questions, where did everything come from?
