So this research team, they made a different assumption about the electrical properties of these primordial black holes. Their model shows that if a primordial black hole formed with a small dark electric charge, it should be temporarily stabilized before finally exploding. So the stabilization effect would dramatically increase the likelihood of observing an explosion from once every 100,000 years to once every decade.
