And these are still theoretical. These are theoretical objects that could have formed less than a second after Big Bang. And could have formed from extremely dense regions of the universe. And they're not like stellar black holes. Stellar black holes are where stars collapsed into a black hole. They could be much lighter and they're basically just relics from the universe containing mostly hydrogen and helium. And while black holes are typically known for eating everything up around them, scientists have long theorized that they eventually explode at the end of their lives through a process referred to as clocking radiation. And previously, scientists thought these explosions occurred only once, maybe every 100,000 years. New research published in the journal Physical Review Letters.
