And then another concern is the rate of satellites that make up the GPS system. And those satellites were high enough to avoid atmospheric drag. But there's another problem that happens here too. But the signals they send and receive, they can still be affected by all this solar activity. So solar storms, they can cause bubbles. They cause these bubbles to form an Earth ionosphere, which the GPS signals have to pass through. So as those GPS signals propagate up and then back down, those bubbles can interfere with the signal. So the increased radiation associated with solar storms are felt. It can also harm the astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Let's copy it again.
