I don't drink, so I don't know, but I'm just using this as an analogy, the physics of opening a bottle of champagne. When you pull the cork, what you're doing is you're increasing the volume at the top of the bottle, and you're extracting energy out of the champagne, out of the inside of the bottle. So as you're doing this, as some of you might notice, when you pull the cork, you'll see these little wispy tendrils coming out of the bottle, and that's just the loss of energy is now cooling inside the bottle, and you're causing a vapour to form, and you get these little tendrils coming out. So you've actually extracted energy from the bottle. Negative energy is different. Just dropping.
