And as far as HF goes, if you want a low price point for entry into HF, you might look at a QRP, a low power rig, 510-watt, something like that. There are kits you can get, you can buy one off the shelf, there's a number of manufacturers out there. You can use a wire antenna. Super easy. That might be the way to do it.
