Thanks, Daryl. You have squirrel season in right now, has been for a week or two here in eastern Indiana. I got a buddy of mine that lives about 20 minutes away. He's got about 80, 90 acres of woods to, you know, deer hunt, turkey hunt, rabbit and squirrel and everything else. My buddy was in a mobile home and he said that out there in the sticks, as we call it, he pulled up the bedroom window and stuck his shotgun out the window and shot it with a number 5 game shot. And he said that the meat wasn't worth saving. But I remember back in the 90s or early 2000s, me and the buddy used to go pail egg fishing for catfish and carb. And his grandma would give us a Ziploc baggie of squirrel. And the first time I tried it, it was really good. It was a little greasy, but it tasted like chicken to me. So I've always ate game food. I got a whole freezer packed full of deer hamburgers. So I slapped it on the grill and put a rub on it or marinated. And you can't taste the gamey taste in it. So just a little backwoods ingenuity.
