Because all I changed was I found that the cable, the USB cable that goes from my audio interface into the repeater controller, which is a laptop, was frayed on the ends. You know just from having a heavy ferrite bead on it it just kind of cracked the coating and there was a little bit of rough wire sticking out. So all I did was replace that wire with a brand new one. And I'm thinking it might have took away the garbliness, but for some reason now I'm getting dead carriers now and then. I wonder what would cause something like that.
