Well hey Rebecca, it's Justin, KK7, QES, and I'm feeling great tonight. I hope you are too. I hope everyone out there on the net is doing great. I really enjoyed all the check-ins tonight. I came a little bit late, but yeah, cool to hear. The report from Gail out of Texas, I always love Gail and Hank's garden reports. It sounded like it was more about things that are learning and not about a huge harvest or something, but that's cool. I love hearing that too. It's been fun hearing about Matt's bike adventures in Bend. That sounds like a really cool night. Anyway, I've had a fun evening too. My wife and girls were out and about tonight until about 8 o'clock, which worked great because I got to get done with work and then record some really loud electric guitar tracks. I live in a small house, so it's not really compatible with my family being here when I want to do that. Anyway, that was really fun. I had a friend and a former bandmate reach out a few days ago and say he had a few songs he wanted me to throw some ideas on. So I got to do that. He sent me the files and I cranked up the amps and it was really fun. I really, really enjoy the process of recording music. I don't do it enough. It took me a long time actually to be able to enjoy it as much as I do and not be stressed out by it. As a musician, sometimes trying to record yourself, at least for me, it stressed me out because it kind of pulls you out of your creative head space. You have to mess around with cables and gain and all this stuff that uses a different part of your brain than just playing your instrument sometimes. Over time, I really just fell in love with it and have been able to figure out a system that works for me. I just really enjoy how incredibly deep the art and science of recording music is. It's super cool. I love reading about different techniques and how people use the recording studio as an instrument. It's just so much fun. It's as big of a rabbit hole as ham radio is in my opinion. Anyway, now I'm sitting here. It's 10 o'clock at night and I have all the synapses in my brain firing and I probably won't be able to sleep until 1 a.m. So that's okay. Thanks again Rebecca for running the net. I'll say 7-3. This is KK7 QES.
