That is correct, KR-40ID here. I'm currently traveling 95 North through North Carolina and yes, dodging in and out of a lot of traffic and construction. So, I'm pretty new to ham. So, no real experience regarding that part of emergency. But I do do environmental work and I've done a lot of disaster response like Hurricane Katrina and things like that. So, that's about the kind of emergency stuff I get into. But the hams looking are starting to be pretty interesting. Meeting a lot of nice people throughout the country and sure as heck beats the radio on these long drives.
