Yes, it is possible. My father-in-law has one in his fireplace and he put the pellet insert in there and it works really good and I have thought of that but I haven't gone quite that route yet. I still like to have the look of the wood fire so I've been resisting doing that but yes that is definitely a possibility and they work really well. Back to you, Pat. KC1DQS.
