Yeah, this has been an issue for a long time, and it's come up in various ways. AWRL managed to get some legislation passed a while back, a few years ago, that really didn't accomplish much. Everybody was excited about it, but it seemed to me at the time that it wouldn't accomplish much. And this is, at least it sounds like, it's a very solid support of amateur radio, and it needs to happen. This is crazy. Part of our mission as AM radio operators is to be there for communications in emergencies. And the neighborhoods are saying, oh, we don't want that, in essence.
