Good morning Dave, yes I am still batching it for another day and a half yet or so. I don't know if we are going to make the Zoom-ba-que tonight or not. Last night Jane didn't get home until almost 7 o'clock and she was pretty wiped out. So I don't know, we'll see. We may or may not be there so don't be surprised if we are not. We were sitting out in the deck this morning having breakfast just before the net started. In fact maybe it was already started. Anyway I heard this noise and it sounded like it was coming from our backyard. So I walked around the corner of the deck and holy cow there were like 30 wild turkeys out there in the yard. Oh geez, a couple of males you know with them all fanned out, their tail feathers just standing straight up. Holy cow, this is lawn mowing day so I hate to see what little presents they left for me but I couldn't believe it. We've had turkeys in our backyard before but never that many. I didn't get a chance to count them but they were wall to wall and I had seen them. I had seen that flock down at a couple of the parks, at Pine Lough Park or even at Camp Gifford over the last couple of days. So we finally got the visit this morning. Anyway that is the critter report from here. Jane's daughter and husband and one of her sons will be arriving tomorrow night late. But in the meantime tomorrow afternoon, tomorrow at noon is the Cabarrus having a lunch meet up. It's now south end.
