Hey good morning Darryl, first off condolences. Man when I lost my dad and mom both it was both tough times. But anyways it happens to all of us. Just wanted to pop in this morning, I'm going to be a one and done. I got projects to do. But if you go to my bio on QRZ I put the, I finally got the Tri-Bander up on the tower This past weekend I got some photos up there, raised up the cross arm that supports my dipole and I'm going to put an inverted L I think up on the other side of it. I haven't got anything up there but the ropes are there. But got a lot of work done there and I finally sorted out how I'm going to bring all the tabling, the coaxes and control wires and where I'm going to do my lightning grounding. I got that all sorted out, I got the parts and pieces I just have to do that next. For right now I'm still doing the temporary through the window feed but man oh man it was uncomfortable on top of that tower. Let me reset real quick. Had to clear my throat also. For some reason the man lifts in the local area are in high demand and I couldn't get one that would go all the way to the top and allow me to work up there. So I ended up getting a 45 footer that I could tow behind my pickup truck and bring it out to the site and all that. So I had 15 feet I had to climb up to the top and because it's a lattice type tower self supporting, gets smaller at the top, wicked uncomfortable working up there. But yeah we got it all done and I'm progressing. I got a little more time before the first big contest start at the end of October. But yeah I just want to let everybody know I updated my QRZ bio with some new photos and they're going to be all the way at the bottom. I'm putting my bio together so you can see the start of the project as I progress it goes up. But other than that today working on one of Debra's projects she's got a new seashed for her garden stuff and she wants a porch. So I got to run to town, get a little bit of concrete, stop by my Amish neighbors, pick up some wood and I got busy stuff to do and then I got some trees to clean up. When I had the lift we had one dead tree and three trees that were in danger in Debra's new seashed. If the wind and ice came together, they were both about 40 foot tall, so I took all the branches off of it so now I just got these pecker poles standing up there and I got to get them down. I had a chainsaw problem that I fixed and so that's going to be on the project. But anyways just wanted to pop in, say good morning to everybody and pass my condolences on so 7-3 to everybody. I'll be listening for a few minutes but I'm just going to be a one and done. W3.
