I am pretty good. I'm up here in southeast Evert, near Silver Lake, working at my friend's house. A little plumbing project. There was a leaking pipe going out to the hose out by the garage. And I decided to tackle that this morning. It was a very slow leak, but I wanted to deal with it before, you know, cold weather and all that. And I have to replace some copper pipe, which I'm almost done with. I'm about an hour behind. I'm a member of the Measure Once Cut Three Times Club, so it doesn't help that I don't have a proper pipe cutter or that I don't have a vise. So me and the hacks are hacking our way through this project. The other little complication is that the water shut off, which is on the garage floor just directly below working, does not quite shut the water all the way off. So it's dripping, which isn't going to help my soldering much. I do not have the special tool required to turn off the water at the curb. In fact, I don't even see where the little curb things are for that. So I don't know. But in any case, I'm about three quarters way through this job. It's going moderately well. And after that I've got a little bit of painting to do on the porch here. But otherwise, it's a wonderful day. It's getting warm, but fortunately I'm working mostly in the shade. KI 7 ZEI.
